Mike started playing drums as a child prodigy at the age of 5 and joined his first band by 8.  With his grade school talent show awards piling up, Mike knew he should give his favorite TV show, Star Search a shot.  Although Mike’s competitor only beat him by ½ star, Mike gave up drumming all together.  Although this break lasted for many years, Mike plays today like he did when he was 8!
